Lineup announced for 2023-2024 NIACC Performing Arts and Leadership Series | News

MASON City, Iowa – North Iowa Location Local community College (NIACC) has unveiled who will be accomplishing during its 2023-2024 Carrying out Arts and Leadership Collection.

“I’m honored to existing the 2023-2024 lineup,” suggests Lindsay Dalrymple, Director of the NIACC Performing Arts and Management Sequence.  “Our concept this year is Our Star is Shining. We needed to pay out homage to not only the stars on our stage, but also the stars inside our group that choose our series feasible. We couldn’t have Tony-award winning Broadway exhibits, Grammy award-winning musicians, comedy, family members reveals, and extra devoid of the support of our patrons, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.”

The 2023 – 2024 time performances are:

Broadway performer and co-star in the the latest revival of “The New music Man” Sutton Foster, September 14 at 7:30 pm.  Presented by Initially Citizens Financial institution.

I Am, He Explained – A Celebration of Neil Diamond with Matt Vee & The Killer Vees, September 24 and 3 pm.  Offered by Henkel Design Firm.

Caleb Johnson’s Vintage Rock Time Device, Oct 4 at 7 pm.  Offered by Sukup Producing Co.

The Tunes of Billy Joel and Elton John starring Michael Cavanaugh, Oct 20 at 7 pm.  Presented by NSB Financial institution.

A new production of the basic musical “Annie,” November 5 at 7 pm.  Introduced in memory of Patricia Johnston by Dr. Tom Johnston.

Champions of Magic, an incredible interactive present showcasing a daring escape from Houdini’s h2o cell, levitation higher over the stage, and a finale “beyond explanation.”  November 14 at 7 pm.  Offered by NSB Financial institution & KIMT-Tv set.

An Olde English Christmas with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, November 28 at 7 pm.  Introduced by North Iowa Eye Clinic P.C.

A contemporary version of “The Nutcracker” from the Minnesota Ballet, December 3 at 3 pm.  Presented by Mason Town Clinic P.C. & Neurosurgery of North Iowa, Drs. Beck, Bhangoo, and Ondoma.

Property Cost-free Christmas.  With above 1.6 million YouTube subscribers, Dwelling Cost-free has been declared “country music fans’ most loved a cappella group.”  December 20 at 7 pm.  Offered by G.G. George Household & North Iowa Broadcasting.

Sons of Serendip bringing musical inspiration with its emotionally stirring interpretations of pop audio arranged with a exclusive mix of vocals, harp, piano, and cell.  January 18, 2024, at 7 pm.  Offered by Mason Town Clinic P.C.

Country Songs Hall-of-Famer Marty Stuart and His Fantastic Superlatives, January 25 at 7 pm.  Presented by 1st State Bank of Belmond and KGLO

The Peking Acrobats, February 20, 2024, at 7 pm.  Introduced by The Globe Gazette and Region Inn & Suites.

Tony Award-winning musical “Hairspray,” February 28, 2024, at 7 pm.  Offered in memory of Patricia Johnston by Dr. Tom Johnston.

Malevo—an all-male team specializing in Malambo, a classic Argentine dance of fantastic dexterity, blended with flamenco and urban percussion.  March 5, 2024, at 7 pm.  Offered by The Hanson Household Foundation & MBT Lender.

The Substantial Kings, four adult males with 13 instruments playing Irish Folks.  March 10, 2024, at 7 pm.  Offered by Drs. Douglas and Melissa Summerfield.

The CHER Demonstrate.  The Tony® Award-successful musical of the musical legend’s story, and it’s packed with so much “Cher” that it usually takes three females to perform her: the child starting off out, the glam pop star, and the icon.  April 4, 2024, at 7 pm.  Introduced in memory of Patricia Johnston by Dr. Tom Johnston.

Comic Brian Regan, April 21, 2024, at 7 pm.  Presented by The NIACC Performing Arts Collection.

Ukulele Orchestra of Terrific Britain, April 28, 2024, at 3 pm.  Offered by G.G. George Family members.
